Past ripples

It seems no matter how good you portray yourself, the past haunts. I was reading about a coverage in the news where the press seem to remember what bad one had done, resulting in nothing one can do to erase that guilt. Look at Elizabeth Taylor, the actress best known for being Cleopatra. Having married some seven times didn't quite make others believe she has astronomically-bad luck in love. For that one husband she stole from another, she earned herself the reputation of a "tramp".

Next up, Oscar winner, Angelina Jolie, aka Brad Pitt's partner, is known for falling for Jennifer Aniston's husband while he was still married. However, she seems to emit this immaculate impression that there's no room for judgmental thoughts about her. I left it as that whenever I read about her - notwithstanding a recent coverage that she is insanely insecure each time her partner contacts his ex-wife.

Then the answer came - Image Consultants! How these professionals try to conceal the bad press effect from those eyes... So those who are in the media business long enough know their dirty linen inside out - maybe thanks to those two-faced friends of theirs called "inside sources". The media said that no matter how good they try to portray themselves, think Jolie's humanitarian works, it cannot erase the fact she stole someone's husband.

Is she returning Pitt to Aniston? Nah... especially how many biological kids that arrived? Maybe Aniston doesn't want Pitt anymore. Who knows yeah? Boy... it's a complicated world.
